Q: Can't download pre-ordered item?

Alright, so I pre-ordered an album on my iPhone in December that just came out today. I received an e-mail saying that it was ready to be downloaded, but for some ridiculous reason you can't seem to just go into iTunes on your phone and download it. Never had this problem before on mobile, anytime something is ready it usually just begins to download.

So, I move over to iTunes on my computer. Nothing's working, so I sign out of my account. I sign back in, and a notification box pops up saying I have pre-ordered items ready to be downloaded. I click okay, and it makes me verify my account, which honestly doesn't make much sense because I just logged back in. Anyways, I verify it, and I get taken to a screen prompting me for my security questions, as this is the first time I'll be making a purchase on this computer with my new security questions. I answer them, click ok, and get taken back to the store homepage. Nothing downloads. I've done this more than once to make sure it wasn't just a glitch, and everytime the same thing happens.

I'd really like to get this album onto my phone, but for some reason iTunes is making things way harder than they need to be. If anyone knows what's up, I'd greatly appreciate an answer.
