Q: Macbook Pro shut off while working and now non-responsive.

I've been working on homework for ~5 hours on my computer and as I was typing the screen and computer shut off. The power button seems useless, nothing happens. The computer was fully charged and plugged in at the time and also was not hot on the bottom of the laptop. The 1800Apple line is shut down and my work is due in a matter of hours. Please someone lend some advice.
