new keynote is not compatible with system 10.8.5..
is there an older version of keynote available so i can still work with collegeaus working in 5.3?
Keynote 6 was built to operate with Mavericks and not earlier versions of Mac OS.
You can still buy Keynote 5 as part of iWorks 09 on Ebay.

just updated to Mavericks and keynote to 6.0.1 but now it crashes when opening keynotes?
error: 'namekeynote' can't be opened or just a crash.
please, any ideas how to fix this?
Keynote 6 has so many problems that many users, myself included, have stopped using 6 and
are using version 5 as there are no problems with it on Mavericks.

but how do i get back to using 5.3 on marvericks?
can't download it via mac apps?
