Popup window asking for a keychain password: what is this?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), I didn't setup any keychains.

The frequency of these popups changed in 3 hours to less and it disappears for some time when I click "cancel". Still, it's back when I try to set up icloud. The previous popups looked like this:

talagent wants to use the "local items"keychain

com.apple.icloudhelper.xpc wants to use the "local items" keychain

clendarAgent wants to use the "local items" keychain

identityservicesd wants to use the "local items" keychain

AdressbooksourcesSync wants to use the "local items" keychain

Thank you.

Please follow the directions in this support article. If there's no change, see below.

Back up all data. Open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the Keychain box. You'll be prompted to keep or delete the keychain items. Choose to delete and confirm. Then re-check the box. Follow one of the procedures described in this support article to set up iCloud Keychain on an additional device. Test.

This article did not work for me. I still get the same message popping up asking for a password. I don't know how this thing got created or where it came from. Do I need to wipe my harddrive to get rid of this? It seems like something from the Microsoft world of things that never make any sense.

I followed the instructions, deleted that folder, and restarted. Got the same messages again. What is it trying to tell me?
