I was just about to order a new 27" iMac, upgrading from a late 2012, 21" iMac running Mavericks 10.9.1,for reasons of screen size and memory, but am unsure what will happen to the registered and licensed software on the old iMac during migration, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Intego A.V. etc.
Adobe CS is the package I'm most worried about, Adobe support said they no longer issue new licenses and I would have to move to the cloud subscription model, there doesn't seem to be the old de-authorise - re-authorise function in any of the Adobe Suite programmes that I remember from earlier version Adobe products.
So has anyone here made a successful migration of licensed software from an old iMac to a new iMac or am I stuck with the old iMac until I can afford to move to the Adobe subscription model?
