OS X Mavericks cannot be installed on this computer

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro with 10.6.8 and the following specs.

Model Name: MacBook Pro

Model Identifier: MacBookPro2,1

Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo

Processor Speed: 2.33 GHz

Number Of Processors: 1

Total Number Of Cores: 2

L2 Cache: 4 MB

Memory: 4 GB

All the updates are done.

When I try to download Mavericks, I'm getting the following message in the App Store

We could not complete your purchase.

OS X Mavericks cannot be installed on this computer.

My computer meet the requirements, any clue on how to download Mavericks?

(I would like to do a clean install)

Thanks

If you cannot run Mavericks you can purchase the code to use to download Lion from the App Store (Lion requires an Intel-based Mac with a Core 2 Duo, i3, i5, i7 or Xeon processor and 2GB of RAM, running the latest version of Snow Leopard):

My cousin have just purchased a brand new MacBook Pro with Retina and he is using OS X in it and some hairstyle video tutorials web pages like Youtube and Dailymotion but these video sites are not opening properly. Is it a common issue or only with my MacBook Pro with Retina, for example this men hairstyle web blog i.e specifically showing some hairstyle embed video tutorials are not opening properly. please check this site and let me know the results so I could help him out from this irritating problem. Thanks in advance...😊

You might want to consider starting a new discussion. Since this one is marked solved, less people are likely to look at it. A new post would be much more visible. You can link to this one. Post in the OS community for the OS version they are using.

If they install Flash, go to Safari/Preferences/Security and make sure Allow Plug-ins is checked. Then click Plug-in Settings and make sure Flash is enabled.
