Jan 21, 2014 12:32 PM in response to rod5by KiltedTim,★HelpfuliOS has been NIST FIPS compliant since iOS 6. If you set a lock screen passcode, the data on the phone is encrypted. That does not mean that data will not be transmitted to/from cloud services that may not be compliant.
Talk to your compliance officer if you're in doubt.

Jan 21, 2014 2:52 PM in response to KiltedTimby rod5,So this means that I don't need to do anything other than make sure that I am using a lock screen passcode and all data on the phone will be encrypted? Nothing more to do?
Thanks, KiltedTim. I really appreciate the answer so fast.
