My iPad is frozen, help!

My iPad is frozen and Siri can't open apps, and I can't shut down my iPad! What do I do?!

Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

I have done this to my iPad and still nothing. Hooked up to computer IMac and iTunes, still nothing. Computer does not even see the iPad.
