Jan 21, 2014 2:14 PM in response to Melieaby Meliea, maybe this can also help: the "background action circle" (on the left to the TC) starts flashing/flaring in green with 100% and then grey with 0% when it freezes... and CPU goes up.

Jan 22, 2014 4:38 AM in response to Melieaby Meliea, another thought: as i don't have my libraries in the movie-folder, i also deleted the motion templates folder (because there was no data in it, i checked before deleting...). on my media drive there is also a motion templates folder (which, i think, fcpx refers to). can that cause the freezing? m

Jan 22, 2014 6:15 AM in response to Melieaby Russ H,The app only expects to see libraries in the Movies folder on the boot drive.
It's hard to imagine how you might have a Motions Template on your media partition. Are you backing up to it? When you moved (copied) your event to the new library, did you unmount that partition?

Sorry if i sound a lil bit harsh here, but i'm really ****** because i planed my setup very well and did look forward to work with it - but right now i'm not working at all...
