I have the Apple TV 1 already synced with iTunes. I have always gotten 1080p from the Apple TV1 because the receiver converts it up. However, I could not get streaming services such as Hulu Plus. So, I got the Apple TV3 which I have set up under home sharing. I can't seem to get the new Apple TV3 to show up and sync under devices in iTunes.
How to do that? Thank you!
The Apple TV 2nd and 3rd gen have no accessible storage and thus so syncing capabilities. All services are streamed, you access your iTunes library using home sharing.
It will only show up under devices when connected to itunes for restore purposes.
