ios 7 and call forwarding

Ever since I update to ios 7, when I go into set my call forwarding, as soon as I go into the are to run it on, the phone drops from LTE to 4G to Nothing, and the signal goes from full down to 1 bar. It's crap, I'll have full signal and no problems any other time, but this causes me a headache every single day as I turn it on when I'm at the office and back off when I leave. I have to keep waiting until it gets signal again before I can turn it off/on, and I also notice that it no longer saves the number as it did in ios 6, so I have to type in the same number every day. Lesser of the two evils. Does anyone else see this problem, you may have to wait a second or two once you go to Settings>Phone>Call Forwarding to see it happen, but I can pretty much replicate it every time.

Note, I don't think the CDMA versions have this option.

iPhone 5, Windows 7

Do you mean when you go into Settings on the iPhone? Take it to an Apple store.

Or do you mean when you go into your work area?

Turn on call forwarding then turn on Airplane mode to stop it from searching/using battery.

FYI:

I have call forwarding on/off programmed as contacts and saved in Phone > Favorites.

So I open Phone then Favorites and the 1st Call Forwarding On

2nd is Call Forwarding Off.

Contact Name is Call Forwarding

Add a number and change the to On.

Add another number and change the label to Off.

I have AT&T

Call forwarding is *21* followed by the number followed by #.

Call forwarding off is #21#

so the contact would look like

Call Forwarding

  • On *21*8005551212#
  • Off #21#
