Is there a page limit for web journal?

I have a similar problem. If any one lets me know I will try to share with you.

I have created a journal which is clearly too long. It is slow and often crashes. I decided yo duplicate the journal so I could delete pages from both so I ended up with two journals from the original one. Hence making it faster and more reliable.

Now I am unable to edit either journal as they crash on pressing the edit button.

Advice welcome, please.
