Podcasts freezing

As many others have stated on here there is an issue with navigating within the Podcasts section of iTunes that has been ongoing for months now. Has anyone gotten any information from tech support? I was told "OK we'll send it to the tech group so they're aware" which to me sounded like, yeah OK we'll get to it eventually. After three updates of version 11 I would have hoped they fixed it by now so I'm not holding much hope for a quick fix. Too bad they have to go and mess with stuff that isn't broken.
