Need help deleted events posted in 2015. Infinitely repeated but not linked to a single event with repeat selected.

There are no replies.
I put in an event and mistakenly have it repeated infinitely. I deleted the first few occasions but now have an infinite number of repeats beyond the initial time frame I intended. How can I erase these?
