my display looks like a negative

My Macbook Pro display looks like a negative picture along with all of the icons on my display. However, when i reboot the computer, my display looks normal. But once I return back to my Desktop, my display turns back to the negative look. My son was pushing buttons while I wasn't looking, and he must of changed some settings somehow. Is there a setting that can bring my display to it's normal appearence?
