Q: mail does not recognize my password

It worked fine until yesterday. I have tried Keychain Access and first aid which found nothing.

Same issue since 1/21/14 , 1 pm pacific time.

I'm walking away for now, maybe it will fix it's self!

All of mine are working in Mesa AZ as of 8 AM MST. I don't when it became functional again.

Same issue here 1/22/14 ... Connection Doctor says: "Trying to log in to this SMTP account failed. Verify that the username and password are correct."

Not sure what to do?

Ok, just reset my password and now I am able to send emails. Before, I was only receiving.

Nothing happening here. Like I said iMac running Mavericks is ok as is iPad. It's my ancient Macbook Pro running 10.6.8 that I get the dreaded  "The MobileMe IMAP server “imap.mail.me.com” rejected the password for user chipster_"  That said my wife's Macbook Pro (newer) is also running 10.6.8 and was having issues. She changed her password and everything works now. Frustrating to say the least!

All working just fine again, made no changes to my account.

Magic fix from the same people who messed it up in the first place.

Their name begins with "A".

Aaaand, it's failed again, sometime after 6:15p Central, US...

Apparently the last outage wasn't annoying enough.

As before, nothing has changed at my end, and Mail is seeing another provider Just Fine, so I don't think it's me. If only there were a way for the manufacturer to learn of these things, so they could take action.

Not it is not working again on anything older than 5.3. Last eMail was at 3:35 PM MST.
