MS Office 2013 is slow on Parallels 8

I am running Windows 7 on Parallels 8 and MacBookPro. MS Office 2007 was working perfectly. When I installed MS Office 2013, the Powerpoint and Word are running slowly. Powerpoint in Slideshow mode displays the following message before running: "Powerpoint has detected that your graphics card may not be configured properly for an optimal slide show experience." Indeed, the animations are not running smoothly, and there are significant delays before changing slides. Typing in Word is also delayed on the screen. Are there any settings that I can change, either in Windows or on Mac, to solve this problem? Has anyone experienced the same?
