Anyone else having sudden incoming authentication errors with iCloud mail on Android?

it just stopped working again on multiple Android devices.😟

Not working for me either. Used to. Tested with other clients in case it was the stock one...those didn't work, too. Works fine on my apple devices.

I had failed logins on my Galaxy S3 and Toshiba Tablet yesterday evening, then they worked all day today. But both started getting failed logins again a couple hours ago (~7:30pm US Central). But I have gotten a couple of emails more recently, so it might be bouncing up and down.

Same here - happened in AM 21st Jan - icloud email stoppe working in Nexus 5 - depsite multiple attempts to correct and reconfigure... very annoying

hi all it fixed itself yesterday after a much frustrating day talking to apple and verizon techs... seems that apple upgraded their servers...so im blaming it on a glitch rather than children fighting over copywites and who invented the glass first...it happened again today at 7pm pacific time...it seemed to correct itself within an hr... this may be for a few days...if not, its back on the fone to apple yet again lol the whole thing is very very annoying.

Well Saturday morning and my Galaxy Note 3 cant get my Mac mail. Same authentication failure that you guys had. My last synch seems to be the 21st. Tried tinkering with the settings, I guess I'll have to wait.

i dont receive many emails on my @me.com account.

it begun with this login problem with android and thunderbird.

on browser i ever login, but i never recived many emails.

principally, the mails was from @gmail.com account and @staff.aruba.it accounts.

i loose this never arrived mails foreever, or i will receve them in future?

this is an heavy issue from apple. i disliked it. now i have many problem for my work.

This is totally bizarre. For me, on my Verizon RAZR M at 4.1.2, I get the error message "Couldn't open connection to server", using either SSL or SSL (accept all certs). However, if I mistype my username, then it comes back with "Username or password incorrect", so obviously my phone is managing to contact some kind of server out there.

Same problem. Tried everything and still no joy😠

Turn on the two step verification then generate an application specific code. Yes, it is a pain, but it works.
