Graphics card issue recognition issue

I purhcased the 15", 16G, i7 ect. Standard, no upgrades. On the site it says it has the Intel Iris graphics card, AS WELL as the NIVIDIA Geforce, but when I go to "about this system" it lists as the Iris card. Is this just due to the automatic graphics switching? Can someone clear up the whole dual graphics thing for me. Thanks.
