I need a way to have a single midi track switch multiple articulations in a multitimberal Kontakt instance. Is there a way I can do this like the Cubase users can with VST Expressions? I'm desperate for a solution and it seems like articulation ID is the key.

Yes, the Audiogrocery Logic X Toolkit PRO offers two Expression/Articulation Map tools.

Watch the Videos in the site or download the AM-PRO documentation.

Here are the major problems in Logic which AM-PRO solves with ease.

For example with Articulation Key Switching Instruments:

1. Keyswitches do not chase.

2. Keyswitches cannot be labeled.

3. Keyswitches are transposed with their region when region parameters are

altered.

The AM-PRO is based on Logic Track Based Automation so the KS chasing is

perfect, you can label the KS using text names "Sustain", Pizz", "Tremolo"

etc, the MIDI Note/Region transposition does not affect the Logic Automation.

AM-PRO Maps can trigger Key Switch, Program Change and up to 4

CC per shot. The upcoming v3 will support two dynamic Key Switches (per Map), powered by

a smart KS latching technology supporting instruments like the Sample Modeling ones for example.
