HELP! email folders & e-mails gone overnight

I have an O2 e-mail account which I used to access through Safari and and a gmail account which I access through Mail. I decided (using online instructions from my e-mail provider) to set up Mail so it would also contain my O2 e-mail. It was all very simple and was working fine with all my O2 e-mail folders visible and working in Mail alongside my gmail account. And I was sending and receiving e-mails fine too.

Today when I opened Mail all my e-mail and folders from my O2 e-mail are gone!!! I accessed the O2 account via Safari and they are all missing there too. I have no Timemachine backup as it only happened overnight.

Where are all my e-mails gone?????

Hello yellow ducky,

As you know, o2 are in the process of moving their broadband system to SKY and this is why you may not get a reply quite as quickly as usual. I usually phone o2 and I have to say, have had excellent service from them ... only yesterday, one man spent half an hour resetting my router to enable a second device to be used.

Try the technical department on 0800 230 0202 (you have to go through one of those auto selection processes) 😟.

I think they have the facility to replace your lost e-mails from their server. Just ask.
