Q: How do I get my in-app purchases to use payment from my account (gift cards) instead of charging my credit card?

How do I get my in-app purchases to use money which is already in my account (from gift cards) instead of charging my credit card?  I hate all the little charges on my bill when I have money sitting in my account unused.
