convert ppt to .mov with quicktime

I have a ppt presentation and would like to convert it to a .mov file. The file has embedded narration. I can convert using PPT for Mac but the audio does not come through. I also tried opening the file with Keynote and converting it into a Quicktime file. The file turns out to be over 2GB so I know something is happening but when opening with QT 7 I do not show the editing controls. I am at a loss as to how to convert this file. Any suggestions?
