how do i change my name on my ipad? the "this ipad belongs to" and the name that says sent from "" ipad

I have changed my name on my ipad mini several times but it still goes back to the original name I used when I set it up, do I have to restore it to default settings to change it to the name I want. I feel there should be an easier option available to me to change my name on my ipad mini instead of going through the whole set up again. If i do the factory reset on it then I have to get a new email @ icloud and I liek the one I have, so I would preffer not to have to do that. Any suggestions are welcome, please and thank you.
