Jan 23, 2014 5:11 AM in response to meems-03by meems-03,Thanks for the replies. I did check out the carrier and read a FAQ about "soft booting" -turning the phone off and then on again. Previously that didn't do anything. This time I turned the phone completely off for 5 minutes. When I turned it on again, everything was restored. The length of time being turned off made all the difference.
