I have an iBook G4 10.5.8 and a an Apple mouse model M5769. Is that mouse compatible with my iBook?

Is there a way to install it?

Hello,

Those are the white USB mouse with the clear cover.

I've tried mine on my iBook G4 running 10.4.11 and it works fine for me.

I don't think your have any problems with it.

No install software required, it should simply work provided your USB ports are working fine.

The Apple Pro Mouse was released several years ago and will work with your iBook.
A single click mouse - it has no right click and scroll function

As others have said, just plug it in to a working USB port and it should work fine.
