Q: i have a i pod touch first generation, and want to download games cut it wont let me

I have an Ipod touch first generation, and want to download games, but it wont let me download a lot of the ones i click on, it says i need 4.2 IOS .... I could only download two games and it wont let me play them.... What can i do??

    Not much. You cannot upgrade beyond the version your have. Sell it and buy a new one.

    Because you have an older generation of the iPod touch, you won't be able to download many of the games in the app store. You will have to have a newer version of the iPod touch. The newer versions have a better operating system then the one you currently have. And also, since your iPod is a 1st generation, I don't think you can update it anymore...

     

    My brother has the 2nd or 3rd generation of the iPod touch and he can't update his iPod anymore. I don't know why it is like this, it *****! I'm sorry!

    iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.

    Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.
