Slow download speeds in bootcamp compared to Mac OS

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit running in bootcamp on a late 2103 27 inch iMac. Download speeds are 3 to 4 times faster when using the Mac OS (and much closer to speeds promised by my ISP) than when booted into Windows.
Is there a way to improve download speeds in bootcamp? I assume that because I can achieve much higher speeds in Mac OS that the router settings etc are optimised.

I'm having the same problem, and can't seem to find any answer except for older versions of boot camp. Very frustrating.... Will keep you posted if I find any thing

Good news I fixed it. Click the start button /Control panel click /Network and Sharing Center then click /Trouble Shooting Problems. After it loads you will see /Network Adapter, click it and a screen will pop up to trouble shoot. Before you click Next click /Advanced then click /run as administrator, now click next then select Wireless Network Connections and run the trouble shooting should fix it. Thank you for sharing your suggestion with me. The troubleshooter did not identify a problem. When you ran the troubleshooter, did it identify and issue which could be fixed? I'm still in the dark about how to solve the issue.

Instead of running the trouble shooting on just the wireless select all devices, also do you have virus protection? There are a lot of free virus programs for PC, just download and run a diagnostic and usually it'll find a lot of stuff. Good luck, let me know, I might have some other ideas.

I have VIPRE Internet Security, which provides antivirus and software firewall, and MalwareBytes. Thank you for persisting in trying find a solution.

Same problem here. I asked the Apple guy at the Genius Bar about this, and his reply was not surprising: Apple can only advise up to the Boot Camp installation, and cannot troubleshoot the Windows installation itself. Bummer.
