Pictures in right order. Finder issue? iTunes issue?

I'm trying to sync exported pictures from Lightroom to my iPhone/iPad.

I have them in a folder in Finder (don't want to use iPhoto or Aperture) and syncing it that way.

I need them to be synced in Z-A order (as I have managed to get my finder in that order after a lot of trouble).

BUT even thou my finder shows all the folders in Z-A order it still comes up in A-Z order on the iPad.

Is that something that can be fixed?

I'm going nuts here trying to figure out a good way to get my picture over to my mobile devices. Since the only way I have found to get some kind of order in Finder is to name the picture with the year infront of it (2009 Fall) but then the old pictures come first when I transfer them over.. I don't want that.

I can't sort it with date or anything like that either cause the pictures has been changed and moved a lot so the dates the files have are off.

Any help would be great!

Thank you
