I just updated Itunes on my Windows 7 desktop and now it won't open at all. Error message says Program cannot start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Reinstall the program. I don"t want to lose all of my music. What do I do? Will Apple let me know how to fix?? Very frustrating.

Yes, the above directions will fix the problem. Yay!!Anyone having problems or would like to be assisted with this issue should call Apple Support at 1-800-275-2273. They will walk you through it all. This is free of charge. Very courtious and patient. Mine took about 1 hour.

Yes.  I had to uninstall ALL Apple programs and then do a new installation.  Everything was there and my wife had no trouble syncing her iPhone.

It should be fine, but there is only one way to find out for sure. No errors for me. tt2
