Q: Purchased new iMAC running Maverick. My iPhone for some reason does not sync with iMAC error (-50) or does not show error. Tried to set up iCloud and after fiddling my iCal on iMAC "lost" all data. I am screwe. There is no way how to get Apple rep to help

Purchased new iMAC running Maverick

My iPhone does not sync with iMAC. Sometimes shows error (-50)

Tried to start iCloud and in due process I lost data in my iCal on iMAC.

Web shown truble shooting does not help.

What now / / ?

In my opinion iCloud is usele4ss.
