Jan 23, 2014 3:01 AM in response to Rexxalby OGELTHORPE,If a SMC reset does not help, do what nbar suggests, bring it to an Apple store genius bar and have them fix it. ( I assume your MBP is in the warranty period)

Note: Portable computers that have a battery you should not remove on your own include MacBook Pro (Early 2009) and later, all models of MacBook Air, and MacBook (Late 2009).
- Shut down the computer.
- Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
- On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
- Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
- Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

Jan 23, 2014 6:46 PM in response to Rexxalby nbar,Sorry, but there is a hardware issue with your machine. I can't be more specific than that and no online troubleshooting here exists for hardware related issues. You need to bring your machine back to Apple for a definitive diagnosis, and free replacement/repair.

Jan 23, 2014 7:15 PM in response to nbarby Rexxal,If its hardware problem. How long normally it takes to diagnose the problem? Because i live in Malaysia in here we only have online apple store ...i have to go to Singapore to fix this..i also think problem related to logic board.

Hold the power button down for 10+ seconds to turn the MBP off.
