Anyone encounters the video card issue related this article in Mac os X 10.9?

TS4088: MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010): Intermittent black screen or loss of video.

As you can see in this article, Apply only provides a resolution for OSX 10.8 and 10.7-, not for 10.9.x. But I also enconter this issue every date in OSX 10.9, it's very annoyed!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

That article is outlining a hardware failure of the GPU, which will ultimately show itself in any version of the OS. 10.9 can't fix that problem. I know, I had the issue. The only fix is a motherboard swap. What you can do is force it to the built in Intel graphics and hide the problem, although you lose the speed of your discrete graphics card that way. Use gxfstatus and force to Intel.
