Jan 25, 2014 9:06 AM in response to bermudatanby Eric Root,Try quitting iMovie, then go to the System Folder/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.cmio.VDCAssistant.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop. Restart, open iMovie and test.
If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.
