I tried the link provided above and it did nothing.

What happened when you tried those steps?

Nothing I continue to get the screen telling me to connect to iTunes(which I am connected) and iTunes says that it is waiting on the phone? What it is waiting for I have no clue.

Now I am getting an error that says my phone cannot be restored and it gives me error 4005

Okay, just follow these steps...

Place the device into DFU mode by doing the following:

Plug the device into your computer with iTunes running.

Hold the home and power button until the device goes off.

Press and hold the power button.

When the Apple logo appears, hold the home button while continuing to hold the power button.

Continue until the screen goes black, and when it does remove your hand from the device.

iTunes should detect a device in recovery mode, and the device should restore itself.

After the restore and the phone boots on, click update in iTunes.

Did you connect your phone to your computer running the latest version of iTunes? You should be able to recover and restore your phone there.
