Magic mouse out of whack
My magic mouse all of the sudden went out of whack and I've tried cleaning it, setting it up again and still going a bit crazy. What should I do?

Have you tried new batteries? Have you tried to unpair it, turn it off, then back on and pair with the computer? If none of that helps it, you might want to stop at an Apple store genius bar and have the techncians check it out.
Yes, I tried all that but nothing helped. Thank you...And btw. I have two magic mice and they act both whacky...so i assume it's not the mouse itself but something in the computer that changed.
Ahh, that would point to the computer itself...have you tried turning Bluetooth off and on at the computer to see if that helps?
With Mac OS X 10.8.2 you could also restart on the recovery hard drive, restart holding both the Command and R keys, and then choose to reinstall Mac OS. Or, open the Mac App Store and check for Updates and update to 10.8.5 and see if that repairs anything...if the glitch is in Mac OS X, anyway.
If that doesn't help then a visit to an Apple store genius bar with the computer and mouse would be a good idea.
I am hesitant to reinstall Mac OS X since I am not very knowledgeable in computer matters and afraid it will delete all my files...or some other nightmare scenario. But will try now turning bluetooth on and off....we shall see.
Thank you!
If this does not work and you are not comfortable reinstalling or updating Mac OS X, which is understandable, then a visit to the Apple store genius bar would be good...get the Apple staff to help find the issue.
Hope this all works out easily for you.
