Jan 25, 2014 2:51 PM in response to turingtest2by alexander_zamora,turingtest2, thank you. It solved my problem. This is the first time I experienced a problem in iTunes installing. Maybe, they didn't test it thoroughly? I wonder.
Thank you, tt2!!!

Jan 25, 2014 3:25 PM in response to Kimmi83by IrishGreg,I've been trying all night to reinstall iTunes. Following all the steps. I have tried deleting the Apple folder in C:/Program Files/Common Files. It keeps telling me I need permission to perform this action. Very quickly losing my patience. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I followed the fix you wrote and it still doesn't work. Still getting Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error as well as error 1114 and R6034, icudt49.dll missing. And to install again. What to do now? Thanks!

Try using the slightly more detailed process outlined in HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. If any component fails to uninstall try moving on to the next step anyway. With luck once you actually reboot and attempt the reinstall it will go through.

Jan 25, 2014 9:34 PM in response to IrishGregby demonbasher,I have the same problems with you. So I tried to manually delete all files in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\
but still some files could not be deleted since they seem to be used by another program. It turned that iCloud Control Panel was still installed. So after I uninstalled this, that folder is gone and the iTunes can be installed without a problem. Thank you turingtest2 for giving this guide
