Have the same, this morning, everthing worked well until now! Can't change any iCal data from icloud.com, iCal on OSX or iOS. Everytime this error!
How many people does it take to turn Apple's light blub? Obviously more than we thought
I'm having the exact same problem.... Can someone help please? I've alread disconnected and reconnected to iCloud... turned my computer on and off... I don't know what else to do.
Same here guys. I'm getting this error through my MacBook and it's driving me crazy. I rely on my calendar, synced across my family's devices, to organise our busy schedules. At the moment I cannot rely on our calendars being accurate because I am unable to update and/or delete some existing entries.
I'm getting the same error when trying to view a Calendar invitation. And it works fine with invites from others.
Apple Care engineers are looking into the problem. I should hear back by Wednesday at the latest.
Same problem here - tried to see if there is any suspect entries in my calendar but could not find any.
Yup having the same issues here-it must be a server issue...😠
The problem disappeared after a day. It was most certainly an iCloud server error. Just give it a day. But this doesn't mean, you should not respond or inform your customers, apple!
Well it hasn't disappeared for me and lots of other people are reporting it over the last few days...
It's been happening to me all week now and it's really annoying because nothing is syncing anymore. I had this happen a month ago and I followed the backup, delete calender, reset thing and it worked. At the time only Gmail synced entries were affected. It's happening again now and it's affecting all entries under 'home'. These aren't shared events either.
I don't want to keep having to fix this by reseting the calender. Thought the whole point of using Apple was for sh*t to *just work*. Having said that, any other suggestions would be hugely appreciated. Cheers in advance.
Yup I feel your pain. Most annoying particularly as we basically have to wait for Apple to fix it. I'm tending to find if I choose 'ignore' when the message comes up on my Mac although the issue is still there it lets it go and syncs to your other devices. Maybe try that
I have the same issue. Any help please?
same thing here... would be very happy if someone could help!
All you guys that are having the same issue, please remember to click the 'I also have this issue' link below the original message. Just putting it in reply isn't enough, the number of people in that link has to increase for the powers that be to give a sh*t.
Cheers.
Me too. My Mac and my iPhone are syncing just fine with iCloud when I manually enter events. However, the problem occurs when I try to accept an incoming email invitation. This is a big problem because these days a lot of people don't show any meeting information int he body of the email - they just send the invitation and expect it to work.
