Q: iWork 09 for new Mac / Mavericks

Since apple appear to have released a half-finished product (looking at the help page that lists all the things that are missing on Numbers 3) , and the new Numbers doesn't seem to be able to open my Excel sheets properly (e.g. graphs are a mess, US date format etc) , where can i get iWork '09 until they finish the job properly?

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

    Hi G,

If you had iWork '09 (or any of the iWork '09 applications installed on your mini, they will still be there, in a folder named iWork in your Applications folder. If you have never had the iWork '09 applications instlled on that machine, you will need to obtain a copy of the iWork '09 retail box package from a reseller who still has one (eg. Amazon) or from a source like eBay or kijiji.

These will come on disk, so you will also need access to an optical disk drive to install from, or to make a disk image file from which to install.

    Regards,

    Barry

Have just noticed an update today that promises to improve compatibility with Excel esp number format of previous sheets, chart dates, and sorting by multiple columns. The kind of thing schoolboy testing woudl have discovered werent working when they released Numbers 3.

Lets hope they get this better as i dont really want to have to buy an old version of iWork. Steve Jobs must be turning in his grave.
