The lens is dirty. Use a DVD cleaning disk or some people have had luck with wrapping a microfiber cloth around a credit card and carefully sliding it in and out of the slot a few times.

it makes noises too tho
Right... it tries to read for a few seconds, then ejects it. That's what happens.
yea exactly what happens
The lens is just dirty. Not a big deal, just clean it like I said and all should be well. If you want to go the DVD cleaner route, try Best Buy, Amazon, or Radio Shack.
alright thank you
I'd expect it to eject after a little while. Have you tried a regular disk since cleaning?
yes it didnt reject it for like 10s then it came out but when i put in the cleaner it ejected it imedetly
Not sure why it's kicking out the cleaning disk so fast. Did you try the microfiber cloth method?
If all else fails and the drive is just shot, you can either go with an external from Amazon for about $35, or get a new Superdrive for about $50. Though you'd have to install it yourself or find someone who could. The procedures are model specific and on ifixit.com. It's pretty easy with a unibody.
no i havnt but ill try it and alright hopefully it works after i try the microfiber cloth method
