Help With Podcast

When I add my RSS Feed To iTunes It says I have zero episodes in my podcast which I do have one episode. If needed here is the rss link and xml file.

There's no need to post the contents of the feed; the URL is sufficient and more use.


Your feed has no 'enclosure' tag containing the URL of the media file, as required by iTunes. There are a couple of references to the URL, but it starts with https (encrypted connection) which won't work in the Store and I imagine Tumblr has failed to create the tag for that reason. Use the same URL starting with http - that may cause Tumblr to create the tag. If not, you need to look for a setting to make it iTunes-compatible. You should always check your feed by subscribing manually in iTunes (from the 'File' menu).


Two points about your media file - Dropbox works, but it isn't a good place to host media files; for one thing it won't deal with large volumes of requests.


Your recording starts with 2 minutes and 52 seconds of silence. No-one is going to listen for that long to see if there is any sound - you need to deal with this.
