itunes not recognizing my devices after installing 11.1.4

By the way. As somebody else in this thread posted, if you have multiple devices that you connect over USB, this problem may return. I have found just switching between two models caused it. Sometimes a reboot works, another time I had to repeat the driver install steps.

Hopefully Apple will fix this goof in a new release soon.

I hade this probleam aswell, thank you soo much for your post! I was so freaked out!

I am unable to fix this problem as when I go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support, I do not have a 'Drivers' file. Is there any other way to fix this problem?

Ignore that step and proceed to the next one. It should all work out in the end.

ik heb het zelfde probleem, ik probeerde net itunes opnieuw te instaleren zegt ie dat de mobile device niet kan vinden terwel die gewoon aan staat, ik had met de nieuwe update me hele muziek op hol sloeg

But I can't ignore that step, as there is no file named 'usbaapl64....' in the Mobile Device Support folder. Maybe I'll just have to wait until the next update and hope that the problem is fixed.

These notes were for "64bit versions of Windows 7 or Windows 8".

The missing drivers folder is typical of a different version of ITunes or a different version of Windows. Try uninstalling Itunes, and go back to the Apple website to install it again. Or, contact Apple support direct.
