I'm getting this error code in Final Cut Pro. The operation could not be completed because an error occurred when creating frame 2829 (error -1). What does this mean and how can I fix it? This code comes up when exporting.

Final Cut Pro X 10.0.8 and I'm running it on OS X 10.9.1. I have been doing nothing different for the past few months. I have been creating a weekly video and exporting the same way and everything, but it just did this today for the first time. I have never had this error code before.
It's a frame encoding error. Trash preferences. Trash render files. Switch off background rendering. Don't render. Find that frame and replace the shot from the browser if the shot is clean. Make sure App Nap is not active. Don't use the computer while you're exporting.
I am a rookie... can you explain how I do this? If not I totally understand.
Trash preferences using Preference Manager from Digital Manager.
Trash the project render files from the File menu.
Switch off background rendering in Editing preferences.
In preferences switch from the timeline dipslay from H:M:S:F to frames.
Select the application in the Applications folder. Press Cmd-I. Check on Prevent App Nap.
Just to offer a comment…
10.0.8 in particular had a lot of exporting issues which were largely addressed in 10.0.9. You can't update to 10.0.9 any longer. If you decide to update to 10.1, do yourself a favor and follow Apple's best practices for updating the application, your existing projects and events.
