In this case it seems I have just to connect every HDs onto my mac and check whether the library is the one I need.

The movie were copied/synct a long time ago and it was really a failure not to write the name of the external HD to a piece of paper.

It is allowed to be silly though it has its costs. Is there a way to read out the path/device where the only one library is in residence, please?

( meantimely the support-site was out of duty so I could not answer)
