nbroaster,
The most effective and efficient method at creating a brochure in this instance is to use Apple's free software program Pages that is included in iWork. If you do not already have this on your Macbook Air, you can simply search for it in the Mac App Store.
When you first open Pages, a window will appear which has options for various templates of the document you wish to create. These templates will be presented in the menu on the left hand side in two categories: Word Processing and Page Layout. Simply search under Page Layout in order to find the brochure option and pick from the large selection of templates available.
Hope this helps.
Apple's Pages application, Swift Publisher, Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign are all candidates. If this is a professional level brochure you'll be printing at a print shop Adobe InDesign (the most expensive and hard to use) would be my first choice. Swift Publisher would be my economy priced choice. Word and Pages tie for last place. If you are going to print the brochure on a home printer and have copies made from that at a print shop Swift Publisher, Word, or Pages would work.
