Q: Why don't certain photos sync to the iPad?
Hi there..
Just got a new iPad mini 16 GB WiFi.
I made a custom image in Photoshop (1536 by 2048 at 326 PPI) to use as my background on the iPad. I did the same thing (with the correct res and dimesions) for my iPhone 5 a while ago. These "photos" are stored in iPhoto in an album called Wallpapers.
I connected my ipad to itunes, but when I sync the selected wallpapers album, it shows up in the albums section on the ipad momentarily, then disapears when the sync is complete. What gives? It works fine and doesnt disapear on my iPhone... On the iphone the image is a .tiff and works. I've tried PNG, TIFF, and JPG but it still will not sync on the iPad. This is so frustrating!!
iPad, iOS 7.0.4

Community Specialists
Hi, dylanostetto.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Make sure the photo in the album is still viewable in iPhoto, delete the iPod photo cache and resync the photos. If the issue persists, see the second article below.

Also, you can email the photo to an email account on your iPad and save the image to set as your Wallpaper.
Cheers,
Jason H.
