How do I move everything from Macintosh HD to my drive that has 1TB?
My startup disk is full, how to I migrate that data to my 1TB hard drive and remove it from the Macintosh HD?

If you want to migrate data to the external for storage then dragging and dropping it onto the external drive will work just fine. What kind of data do you want to migrate?
Applications can not be reliably migrated by drag&drop for example, so it is important to know what type of data you are talking about.
