slideshow music settings does not work

The slideshow music settings do not work. Music from iTunes does not appear in the setting window when selected. When dragging the provided Theme music songs into the Custom Music window, the names of the songs are changed to names of transitions. Very unlike Apple to create such a buggy application.

This problem is occuring on all four Macs that I own.

I'm using the most recent version of all software including iTunes 11.1.4

Please help.
