What I can do? the keyboard of my MacBookPro stop working overnight

Yesterday I use it until 11:00 PM and all was working well. I put it to sleep as usual, and left it recharging. This morning, I open it and the key board w/ mouse stop or wasn't working.

Lucky me I had a wireless keyboard that I can use while solve problem. And yes , it is out of warranty last DEC. I still was able to took it for a battery replacement. I would like try to check something before have to take it to shop and pay for it.

I looked up into apple website troubleshot recommendations for settings under system preferences, but nothing work, since nothing was wrongly check, and only two things that needed to be check they were.

Now, this community is my second shot. I check for similar trouble but there is not advice, except for one that was under warranty. He was told to take it to the store.

Thank you for any advice other than prior to solve the problem.

Note, my wireless mouse and keyboard work well. They are connected with a USB chip.
