I purchased some iTunes cards while we are on holidays in U.S. When I try to redeem them I get message "Must be redeemed in US storefront". Is there a setting I have t change on my iPhone before I can redeem them?

You cannot redeem it, unless you are in the U.S AND have a U.S account, billed to a U.S address and credit card.
